Taxis are running on propane autogas in the US city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania says Next-Gen Transportation.

BC Transit, the public transportation organization serving the Canadian province of British Columbia, is buying 50 compressed natural gas (CNG) buses. Next-Gen Transportation says the first five buses will be on the road in February 2014 and an additional 20 will follow in March 2014. The organization currently operates a fleet of about 1,000 buses, 20 of which are fueled by hydrogen.

Laramie County in the US state of Wyoming is moving to natural gas by purchasing three service trucks that will be converted to CNG. WyomingNews reports the lowest prices for gas and diesel in the county are more than twice as high as compressed natural gas. The county also plans to buy heavy duty equipment that runs on CNG.

The Orange Country Register test drives the Dodge Ram 2500 CNG. The heavy duty pick up truck runs on either compressed natural gas or gasoline.
