TWh stands for terawatt hour. A kilowatt-hour (kWh) is a unit of energy equal to one thousand watts of power spent for one hour of time. A terawatt hour is a unit of energy equal to one trillion watts of power spent for one hour of time. It expresses annual electricity generation for countries.
